Salvator Rosa

I stumbled onto Salvator Rosa when researching into the surrounding areas of Carnarvon National Park after booking a trip out to Sandstone Park in the gorge section of the park (more info here). There seemed to be very little information online, but what I could find made it look worthwhile checking out while visiting the main part of the national park.

Salvator Rosa is located in the North West section of the Carnarvon National park and is roughly a 4.5hr drive via Springsure. The drive in is very remote on unsealed roads and is recommended in a 4wd. We camped at the Nogoa River camping area which is located as you enter the park.

We really enjoyed the remote feeling of the area and loved checking out Spyglass peak, Louisa Creek and the Nogoa River.
